The 5 Points Community Farm Market offers a unique opportunity for planners to lease the Farm Market for fundraisers, corporate events or private parties. Centrally located on 26th Street and Church Street, the market is just outside Downtown Norfolk and close to Ghent. Leasing our space The market consists of one large space as well as the ability to rent an outside tent, suitable for all weather. The total capacity for the market is 200 people. The quoted fee also includes the use of our staffed coat check, spacious bathroom facilities, the use of our on-site sound system, and security. Rental fees vary depending on the length of the event as well as the level of detail needed for preparation. Planners will be required to pay a flat fee, which will be determined based on the details of the event. Our in house catering provide by the Get Fresh Cafe is a seasonal pleasure. Please call the cafe direct to discuss our options with the Chef and Manager themselves at 966-6577. Hours of operationWe are able to hold events at The 5 Points Community Farm Market every night of the week. It is also possible for us to close the market early if necessary.
Recent Parties at the MarketAccess AIDS - Dinner is Served: In October of 2008, combined hosts for ACCESS Aids - Dinner is Served held the First Paper Bag-Head Extravaganza. The fundraiser and raised over $5,200 for the organization. HRBOR - Third Thursday: Every month, Hampton Roads Business OutReach hosts a business networking event called Third Thursday. HRBOR held their monthly networking event at the Market in June of 2008. The open space was very welcoming and condusive to the business group and provided a welcome space for social entertaining and refreshments.
